School
This is a school.
It has trained many generations.
It stands, with distinction.
The distinction makes it what it is!
Soccer Stadium
The soccer stadium in Leipzig, revamped and ready for World Cup --
This was in the summer of 2006.
Angola and Iran get ready for a match.
Where is the Door?
Where is the door?
Where is the wall?
Just because I cannot see it, it does not mean that there is no door, that there is no wall.
Wall and the door are the same.
Where is the wall?
Just because I cannot see it, it does not mean that there is no door, that there is no wall.
Wall and the door are the same.

Design and Death
Some designs refuse to die.
They insist on living even as what embodies them may fall apart.
Look at this old Citroen parked on a side alley in Tehran.
It seems to say "I still have life in me. Fix the wheels and tires, and I'm ready for another go."

Gold and Jewelery Shop
I remember seeing a Muzzaffarian Jewelery shop in San Francisco once.
However, this corner building in old town bazar of Tehran is the home of the Muzzaffarian Jewelery.
It is built to rekindle the style of the old, of the Safavids, Zandis and Ghajar but in a different era.
It succeeds only in part. As the city grows, it will most probably disappear from its ground by shear economics.
Economics overwhelms design.
This piece of land is worth millions.
